Host a Book Drive
The first and foremost way to support our Books in Every Home Campaign is by hosting your own book drive at your place of work, place of worship, community center, organization, or school. Our entire campaign depends on Book Drives from our generous community and corporate book drives. Email Karen@treehousebooks.org to find out more!
If it is one thing that kids grow out of fast, it's books! Get into the giving spirit, clear off your shelves, and bring them to us. We'll find a new home for them-- no problem. To schedule a drop off time click here.
We have books coming from all corners of the city-- and a lot of them! As you know, books are big and heavy. We need all the help we can get to cover boxes, trucks, and other moving costs to make sure our donated books get into the hands of as many kids as possible. To become a donor, visit us here.
Our Campaign is a HUGE undertaking! We are working with corporate partners, community centers, classrooms, churches, individuals, and more. We would love to have you volunteer to support our campaign: whether it be as a Volunteer Librarian, to help with pick ups and drop offs, or to assist us with recruiting Book Drives, any time you can give is extremely valuable to this ambitious effort. We are always looking for exciting and unique ways to distribute as many books as possible into Philadelphia homes. If you have and idea for a group, organization, or program that wishes to give out free books to send home, we are happy to support you while also working to reach our 50,000 book distribution goal!
