The After School Teacher (AT) supports the effective execution of the After School Literacy Studio program and/or the Summer Literacy Studio at Tree House Books under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.
General Responsibilities: The AT must be available during program hours. After School runs during the school year, Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm. The program ends at 6, but staff should plan on staying until 6:30 for cleaning and any wrap-up/shutdown needs.
Fall program begins August 25th 2025 and ends June 12th 2026.
Summer Camp is Monday - Friday from 9 am to 3 pm and runs from end of June to Mid-August.

The primary goal of the Philadelphia Literacy Day Intern is to assist the Managing Director in planning and executing Philadelphia Literacy Day (PLD) on DATE TBD. This is an unpaid internship and will give the intern some experience planning, executing, and running an event. They will also be working and learning directly from our staff in a fun, friendly work environment.
