The TA is responsible for the effective execution of our Teen Program. This program was created to provide teens in North Philadelphia the support they need outside of school.
This position has a set schedule, with some flexibility. This includes planning time, in program hours, and at least 1 field trip per month. TA’s required days are Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 6pm year round (Days may shift in the summer due to teen summer jobs.)
Status & Compensation6 physical hours per week and 1 field trip per month (Includes 1 overnight trip per year.)
$20k/Year

The AT must be available during program hours. After School runs during the school year, Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm. The program ends at 6, but staff should plan on staying until 6:30 for cleaning and any wrap-up/shutdown needs.
Fall program begins August 25th 2025 and ends June 12th 2026.
Status & CompensationThe position is part-time and starts at $20 an hour

The primary goal of the Philadelphia Literacy Day Intern is to assist the Managing Director in planning and executing Philadelphia Literacy Day (PLD) on DATE TBD. This is an unpaid internship and will give the intern some experience planning, executing, and running an event. They will also be working and learning directly from our staff in a fun, friendly work environment.
