The OST Teacher (OSTT) should support the effective execution of the After School Literacy Studio program and/or Summer Camp.
General Responsibilities – The OSTT must be available during program hours they are applying to:
After school runs during the school year on the School District's Schedule. Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. (Training August 25th - September 3rd - After school starts September 9th and ends June 9th)
Summer Camp runs 6 weeks during the summer Monday through Thursday 9am to 3pm with field trips on Friday. (7 weeks including training beginning June 21st - August 6th)

The primary goal of the Philadelphia Literacy Day Intern is to assist the Managing Director in planning and executing Philadelphia Literacy Day (PLD) on September 5th. This is an unpaid internship and will give the intern some experience planning, executing, and running an event. They will also be working and learning directly from our staff in a fun, friendly work environment.
