The Travelling Tree House - A Bookmobile (all ages): The Traveling Tree House gets books into the homes of North Philadelphia residents - over 15,000 books a year. Books in homes is a measure of future success and the ability to choose those books from the Traveling Tree House means kids are more likely to read them!
The Traveling Tree House features books by Black authors, and other authors of color telling diverse stories so all kids can see themselves represented. Teens and adults can also browse a selection of novels and books for their reading levels - no one is left out.
Visits to the Tree House (ages 6-12): Looking for an exceptional, educational, and exciting field trip for your class? Schedule a Visit to the Tree House! We are excited to welcome classes and camps in our Giving Library, for a customized experience, including Story Time, music, arts and crafts, and more! Plus, every child gets FREE Books to add to their home library.
Philadelphia Literacy Day (all ages): A festival of family fun celebrating our North Central Philadelphia neighborhood and all of the programs working to make Philadelphia a city of readers, writers and thinkers!
