Volunteer Librarian: [Weekdays. 10 to 6] Work in our volunteer-staffed giving library by organizing, inventorying, and packaging book donations. Regularly interact with people of our community and help them find books and suggest them too! Become a part of thousands of books going out into the community! Click here to apply.
Literacy Coach: [Mondays-Thursdays. 2:30-6:30. Commitment: 1 or 2 days/week] Become a mentor and guide at Tree House Books' Book camp by connecting students to the world of books, texts, and words, ages 0-17. Literacy Coaches should have prior tutoring experience or experience with children and be motivated to read, learn, and grow with our community. They are a vital part of the success of our literacy programming, so should be dedicated to education and literacy issues in the city of Philadelphia. Click here to apply.
Read with Me Volunteer: [Tuesdays. 10-12] Read with Me provides new and expecting parents and guardians with the time, space and materials to read with the youngest members of our community. A Read with Me volunteer would be charged with facilitating mini-lessons, discussions, and reading time for the young ones and their families. Click here to apply.
Visit to the Tree House Captain: [Fridays. 10-12, or as Needed] Visits to the Tree House provides classrooms and summer camps the opportunity to join us for an Interactive story-time and a selection of Free Books! Life with Books Event Volunteer: [Weekdays. 3 Hours per Month] We are currently planning our Life with Books fundraiser for early-mid November and we need your help! In order to have the most successful event, we ask our members to: Attend one committee meeting per month, and assist or lead with the following tasks: Party planning, logistics and implementation, including menu selection; meeting vendors and businesses; acquiring corporate sponsors; coordinating volunteers; auction planning, marketing; decor, entertainment, etc. If you are interested, please contact email@example.com for more information.

Responsibilities include collecting and organizing contact information from a variety of sources and compile into a spreadsheet; organize and analyze data; streamline and standardize data for easy sorting; transport data into Little Green Light; create and standardize procedure and train staff/volunteers.
